Copper Leaf, scientifically known as Acalypha Wilkesiana, is a tropical evergreen shrub that is native to the Pacific Islands and parts of Asia. It is a popular ornamental plant that is widely cultivated for its striking foliage, which features large, glossy, and deeply veined leaves that are coppery-red in color. The leaves are oval-shaped and can grow up to 20cm in length and 10cm in width.
Copper Leaf is a fast-growing plant that can reach a height of 3m in ideal conditions, but it is usually kept as a compact shrub that grows up to 1.5m tall. It prefers warm and humid climates and thrives in full sun to partial shade. It is a low-maintenance plant that requires regular watering and occasional fertilization to maintain its vibrant foliage.
