Crocus ‘Blue Beauty’ is an early-spring flowering plant valued for its soft lavender-blue to violet blooms and bright golden-yellow center. The cup-shaped flowers appear close to the ground, reaching about 3–4 inches in height, and open fully in sunlight. Narrow, grass-like green leaves with a pale central stripe emerge alongside the flowers. This crocus grows well in full sun to light shade and prefers well-drained soil. It is commonly planted in lawns, borders, rock gardens, and containers, where it naturalizes easily and provides one of the first splashes of color after winter.
Plant Care🪴
☀️ Sunlight:
Crocus plants need full sun to light shade. They bloom best when they receive at least six hours of sunlight each day.
💧 Watering:
Water the plant after planting to help settle the soil. During the growing season, keep the soil slightly moist. After flowering, reduce watering, and during dormancy, water very little.
✂️ After Bloom Care:
After flowering, allow the leaves to remain until they turn yellow. This helps the bulb store energy for the next blooming season.
