Schefflera Gold Capella – Dwarf Umbrella Tree ( multiple stum) 85 cm

Schefflera arboricola are fantastic houseplants with beautiful foliage. They are not difficult to look after and will tolerate some neglect as well as help clean the surrounding air.

Also known as the Parasol Plant, Schefflera arboricola Gold Capella has green, glossy palm-like leaves, oval in shape with irregular splashes of gold, yellow and pale green variegation. They are fast growing, but are readily trimmed into shape, making them adaptable as small, compact plants displayed on a table through to tall, specimen floor plants.

Please note: Schefflera are prone to stress after a change in location and leaf drop is common. Your plant should stabilise within a few months.

Schefflera arboricola is best grown in bright, indirect light to partial shade.

Insufficient light may cause leggy growth.

Water when the soil has become slightly dry. Water thoroughly and allow to drain freely. They like to be moist but not wet. Do not leave sitting in water.

The Schefflera arboricola does well in normal home humidity, however it will thrive in higher humidity environments.

Mist occasionally or relocate to the kitchen or bathroom for an added boost.

Liquid fertiliser can be applied during the growing season, once a month or so should be sufficient.

The Dwarf Umbrella Tree is a fast growing plant in optimum conditions and can reach an ultimate height of 1 to 2 metres, but is easily trimmed to maintain at whatever height you prefer.

This plant is considered mildly toxic.

Keep away from pets.Do not consume.

🌿If the leaves are turning black before dropping, the plant has been overwatered. Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry out before watering.

🌿Prune back if the plant becomes leggy or too tall. Pinch out new growth if you want to keep the plant small and compact.

🌿Wipe leaves occasionally with a damp cloth to remove dust and keep your Dwarf Umbrella looking fresh and feeling fine.
