Imperial Thai Delight Bougainvillea is so artistically colored that it looks like a pastel watercolor painting. Each flower is uniquely colored with splashes of pink and plum hues against a background of white for a color combination that you have to see to believe! Other types of bougainvilleas are all the rage for their brilliant solid-color blooms, but this multi-colored cultivar surpasses them all. And because Imperial Thai Delight Bougainvillea continuously produces flowers all along the stems ‘– not just at the tips of the stems ‘– you’ll enjoy a massive explosion of color all season long!
Plant Care🪴
☀️ Light:
Bougainvillea is a sun-loving plant that needs full sunlight to bloom well. Give it at least 6–8 hours of direct sun every day. If it doesn’t get enough light, it will grow lots of leaves but very few flowers.
💧 Water:
Water bougainvillea deeply but infrequently. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Overwatering can cause root rot and poor flowering, so it’s better to underwater than overdo it.
✂️ Pruning:
Pruning helps encourage more flowers. Trim the plant after flowering or lightly during the growing season. Since blooms form on new growth, pruning actually improves flowering.
