• Light: Plumeria thrives in full sun. It needs at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight each day to bloom profusely and maintain healthy growth. Inadequate light can result in fewer flowers and leggy growth.

• Watering: Water Plumeria regularly during the growing season (spring to fall), allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot. During the winter dormancy period, reduce watering significantly, as the plant requires very little moisture when not actively growing.

• Fertilization: Feed the plant with a high-phosphorus fertilizer (often labeled as “bloom booster”) during the growing season to encourage flowering. Apply a balanced fertilizer every 2-3 weeks.

• Pruning: Prune Plumeria in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Remove dead or damaged branches and shape the plant to encourage a strong structure and more blooms. Pruning also helps maintain a manageable size.
