The Red Emerald Philodendron is one of the most common vining types of houseplants. It is a hybrid sought for its burgundy-red leave. Vining philodendrons are among the easiest philodendrons to care for and are leaders in removing toxic gases from indoor environments.

A Philodendron Imperial Red can survive in low light, but grows faster and looks better in medium light. Always allow the top 50% of the soil to dry out before watering. Water-less, allowing the soil to dry out a bit more, during the winter months. Fertilize monthly when the plant is actively growing with a balanced food diluted to ½ the recommended strength. If the plant is not producing new leaves, it doesn’t need any plant food. An Imperial Red Philodendron grows well in warm temperatures between 70°-85°F ( 21.1°-29.4°C). Use a rich quick-draining soil for all types of philodendrons; you may have to add a little sand to your usual soil mix if it appears too heavy.

These plants are considered poisonous and should be kept away from pets and children.

[20

post-1580","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-indoor-plants","desktop-align-center","tablet-align-center","mobile-align-center","ast-product-gallery-layout-horizontal","ast-magnify-disabled","ast-product-tabs-layout-distributed","ast-qv-on-image","first","outofstock","sale","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
["GET
