Calathea ornata Sanderiana has large dark green, glossy leaves with white, fish-bone-like stripes that have pink overtones. The leaves are purple underneath.<\/p>\n
It is one of the larger Calathea varieties and makes a fantastic statement house plant.<\/p>\n

The Sanderiana has beautiful pink stripes along its foliage, however if you notice these fading to white, the plant is receiving too much sunlight. Move to a more shaded location.<\/p>\n Living on the edge! Crisping up at the edges of leaves is a watering issue not humidity. This plant is sensitive to chlorine in tap water, so allow it to stand overnight to diffuse before use, and maintain an even moist soil. Brown leaf tips are common.<\/p>\n What’s got you down?
