Araucaria Heterophylla Christmas Tree

These lovely outdoor trees are related to the Monkey Puzzle tree.  They are evergreen and sometimes people use them as a Christmas tree!  Easy to care for they make a rather special houseplant. If used as a Christmas tree you can put your tree to live outside in its pot during the summer months and bring it back inside when the temperatures cool ready for the festive season.

Let the compost dry out at the surface between waterings and keep out of direct sunlight but in a bright spot.  Feed with a liquid fertiliser during the summer months only.
