The Calathea White Fusion is rare in its kind, as there are only a few Calathea species that have white spots/drawings on the leaf. Originally the Calathea plant comes from the tropical rainforests of South America. In these rainforests, they grow in the shadow of trees and other large plants, which is why they are also called ‘Shadow plants’. These houseplants really seem to ‘live’. In the evening, the Calathea White Fusion folds its leaves and unfolds them again in the morning at the first rays of light. How cool is that!
In South America, the leaves of the Calathea are also used to make baskets and other utensils. A super strong plant with a great look!
