A great looking Dracaena with lovely long and wide, deep green leaves with a central bright yellow-green band giving a neat striped appearance. Its leaf colour and variegation resembles that of Dracaena Cintho, however this is a smaller and more wide-spreading option.
Dracaena Burley is easy to care for, being a tough and resilient species that will tolerate light shade and cooler temperatures. Best displayed on a large table or in a tall, thin planter, where its spreading nature makes it ideal to fill a large space. It is also a great plant for removing toxins from the air.
Light
Dracaena Burley prefers moderate to bright indirect light, however avoid direct sunlight. Ideal for office interiors with fluorescent lighting. If kept in low light conditions reduce watering to prevent root rot.

Watering
Water when the soil starts to dry out at the top, water well and allow to drain thoroughly. Dracaena are relatively drought tolerant. Do not overwater as this will cause the leaf tips to blacken.
Humidity
Dracaena are hardy houseplants and will do well in normal room humidity, however they do prefer higher humidity and will benefit from occasional misting.
Feed
Apply a weak dose of a fertiliser once or twice a month during the growing season.
Air Purifying
This plant filters airborne toxins such as benzene and formaldehyde, and is part of our clean air plant collection.
Blozem Hints 🌱
Beware the blotching! Yellow and brown blotches on the broad leaves? The plant has been too dry and hot. Refresh regularly and relocate somewhere more humid.
