Ficus elastica Abidjan prefers bright, indirect light but does cope quite well in lower light conditions.
Avoid direct sunlight as this may scorch the leaves.
Watering
Water when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times, but do not overwater as this will cause leaf drop.
Humidity
This Ficus has no specific humidity requirements, although it will benefit from an occasional misting.
For an added boost, consider moving your plant to a steamier room such as a kitchen or bathroom.
Feed
Apply a weak dose of a fertiliser once or twice a month during the growing season.
