Golden Pothos plants are loved for their extreme hardiness, yellow variegated color, and ability to thrive in very low light to high indirect light! They are perfect for even the worst plant killers!
Golden Pothos are amazing for:
- People who cannot keep up with plant schedules
- People who overwater – they wont die but some leaves will turn yellow to let you know
- And people who underwater – they will get droopy when they need water and will recover the same day.
Light
Bright but indirect light is best, as this plant is not used to direct sunlight. If in a shadier location, water less frequently to stop it getting waterlogged. Keep an eye on the variegation to see that it’s getting enough light; if you begin to lose variegation, your pothos will probably appreciate a brighter spot!
Watering
Allow the top third of soil to dry out between waters; in a shadier location, allow about half to dry out. Keep an eye out for soggy soil in winter especially.
Humidity
Average humidity is fine; don’t mist this pothos, though a hose down once a month or so will help it keep its leaves clear of dust. Make sure you don’t keep it too close to a radiator which could dry it out
Feed
Liquid fertiliser can be applied during the growing season, once a month or so should be sufficient.
Toxicity
Considered toxic to pets if ingested. Keep it out of reach of cats and dogs or opt for pet-friendly alternatives if you have furry companions
Air Purifying
Epipremnum Moss Stick helps filter common indoor pollutants, contributing to a healthier living environment.
