- Grape Vine (Also known as Vitis Vinifera) is an excellent climbing vine that is widely noted for its remarkable foliage, its fragrant green-whitish blooming flowers followed by clusters of edible grape fruits which are generally sweet from inside but have bitter skin outer portions. They have a particular type of foliage that emerges as green in the spring, then delicately flushed by burgundy and then during summer it gets further shaded by burgundy. Planting and caring
These vines will perform well when kept in presence of full sunlight to partial shade condition. Water them moderately enough to keep their soil moist, not wet. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained. And for this fruit bearing plant there must be enough good air circulation around. To keep their growth healthy, ideally temperature must be around 27 to 40 degree Celsius. In terms of feeding, use any organic fertilizers.
