Clay Pebbles are made from 100% natural clay. They are clean, pH stable, and offer great aeration and drainage in hydroponics, especially in flood and drain, deep water culture, and drip feed systems. Due to their unique structure and ability to cover a large surface area, they offer the ideal environment to foster beneficial bacterial growth around the root zone, leading to naturally healthier plants.

• All-Natural Clay Pebbles: Naturally mined and kiln dried in Germany, our clay pebbles provide excellent moisture retention, drainage, and aeration to help aid in the growth of your plants. Our hydroponic clay balls are lightweight, semi-porous, and free from any harmful gases or materials. Our clay balls for plants are great at absorbing nutrients from plant additives, helping them grow healthy and faster. Our light expanded clay pebbles measure approximately 8–16 mm.
• Great for Hydroponics & Aquaponics: Using our light expanded clay aggregate with soil, or as an alternative to soil, is a great way to keep your plants hydrated. Clay soil is especially helpful in areas where water is scarce, as they help improve irrigation systems and seed propagation. The increased airflow also aids in regulating soil temperatures.
• Long Lasting & Reusable: Our clay pebbles are durable enough to be reused multiple times. Lifetime depends on your usage and care of the pebbles. For best results, rinse the clay pellets before use. We suggest initially soaking your pebbles in water for at least 6 hours (up to 24 hours) before use. Clean thoroughly, and sterilize with alcohol or peroxide between uses. For outdoor gardening, use our clay pebbles with your soil; not suitable as a replacement for soil in outdoor gardens.
