The Blue Watercolor Orchid achieves its look through a special process in which dye is injected into the stem, giving the petals their bright, gradient coloring. The dye is completely safe and causes no harm, though please note that when this plant re-blooms, it’ll be its natural color (white or light pink). This is a Phalaenopsis orchid, which typically blooms about once a year for up to three months.
Light
Thrives in bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium indirect light. Direct sun tolerance is species dependant.
Watering
Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing potting medium to dry out between waterings. If kept in decorative, cache planter, pour out excess water after watering. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light. This plant can benefit from extra humidity.
Toxicity
This is a pet friendly plant.
Blozem Hints đŸª´
đŸŒ¿Most Orchids are epiphytes fond of tight quarters. Keeping them in their grow pots keeps roots compact, and provides drainage and air circulation.
