Nepenthes are extremely cool carnivorous plants that naturally grow in tropical rainforest. They grow pitchers from their leaves that act a natural sieve and fill up with water. They can be kept anywhere they receive indirect bright light, but especially love a steamy bathroom!

Monkey Jars in bright to medium indirect light. Avoid intense, direct sunlight.

Water once a week, or more. Check the soil often and make sure it doesn’t get dry. These plants likes their soil moist.

If the pitchers dry out, you can cut them back. New ones will grow! You can fertilise it, but use a weak solution only once a month in spring and summer.
