☀️ Sunlight: Spider Lily grows best in full sunlight to partial shade. Around 4–6 hours of sunlight daily encourages healthy growth and better flowering.
💧 Watering: Water regularly to maintain slightly moist soil, especially during the active growing and flowering seasons. Avoid leaving the plant in waterlogged soil, as excessive moisture can cause bulb rot.
🌱 Soil: Prefers fertile, organically rich and well-draining soil. A good-quality potting mix with compost helps support healthy roots and lush foliage.
🌡️ Temperature: Thrives in warm tropical and subtropical climates. It grows well in temperatures between 20°C and 35°C and should be protected from frost and extreme cold.
🌸 Flowering: Produces attractive, fragrant white flowers with long, delicate petals. Flowering is more abundant when the plant receives sufficient sunlight and proper watering.
🌿 Growth: Grows in dense clusters with long, arching green leaves. It is suitable for garden beds, borders and medium to large decorative planters.
🧴 Fertilizer: Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer or slow-release flowering plant fertilizer during the growing season to encourage healthy foliage and beautiful blooms.
✂️ Pruning: Remove yellow, dry or damaged leaves and faded flowers regularly to maintain a neat appearance and encourage healthy new growth.
Best For: Garden landscaping, borders, walkways, outdoor pots, patios and tropical garden designs.
