Cordyline ‘Chocolate Queen’

Bright indirect light is ideal to maintain the bright coloured leaves of this plant.  It can tolerate slightly lower light conditions, but the growth rate will be slowed.  Direct sun may scorch the leaves and/or cause the tips to brown.

Drought tolerant but thrives if its soil is kept consistently moist. Allow the top of the soil to dry out slightly before watering and do not allow to stand in water. Reduce watering in winter. If possible use rain or filtered water to avoid brown leaf tips.

Prefers high humidity. Mist regularly or use a humidifier.

Typically grows to 2 to 4 feet (60–120 cm) indoors.

Mildly toxic if ingested, best practice is to keep out of reach of pets.

🌿Remove old, faded leaves and keep dust free with a damp cloth. Can be propagated via stem cuttings.

🌿Pinch-out to bush-out! Once you have the desired height, pinching out the top of this plant in early spring will encourage new growth in the form of side shoots, creating a bushier plant.

🌿Spray away! This plant prefers a to be watered less and misted more. Place in high humidity environments to improve plant vigour.
