Jackfruit Plant- Heterophyllus

Jack fruits are delicious and nutritional tropical fruits that can be easily grown in your home garden. This large evergreen tree grows straight, reddish-brown bark and bears edible fruits.

The leaves are dark green, alternate, glossy, fairly large, oval in shape, and blooms short, stout flowers that emerge from the trunk and large branches and are composed of the coherence of multiple flowers.

This erect perennial tree is from the Moraceae family and is cultivated throughout Malaysia. The fruits are kidney bean-shaped and yellow-green in color. JackFruit reaches a maximum height of 48 inches and doesn’t require much maintenance or care to thrive.
