Plumeria obtusa “Frangipani” pink

Fast-growing, Plumeria obtusa is a small rounded tree boasting sweetly fragrant pink flowers, across 7 cm, adorned with yellow throats and rounded petals that often are recurved at the tips. Blooming from spring to autumn, the blossoms are borne in bouquet-like clusters at the branch tips. Leathery, narrowly elliptic, shiny dark green leaves with rounded tips, 20-30cm long, are clustered near the tips of the thick, eshy, succulent branches. Evergreen,pink Frangipani works well as a freestanding specimen, a patio tree, or as part of a mid shrub border.

Care:

Sunlight: Plumeria rubra requires full sun exposure to thrive and produce abundant blooms. Provide it with at least six to eight hours of direct sunlight daily.

Soil: Use a well-draining soil mixture for your Plumeria rubra, such as a blend of sand, perlite, and loam. This helps prevent root rot. The plant can tolerate a range of soil types but prefers slightly acidic to neutral soil pH.

Watering: During the active growing season, water your Plumeria rubra regularly, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Reduce watering in winter when the plant goes dormant. Avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot.
