Plant Care🪴
Sunlight☀️:
Full sun to partial shade – At least 4–6 hours of direct sunlight daily.
In Qatar’s intense summer heat, some afternoon shade can help prevent leaf scorching.
Watering💧:
Moderate watering – Water deeply 2–3 times a week, more frequently in extreme heat.
Ensure the soil drains well to prevent root rot.
Reduce watering in cooler months.
Fertilizing🌱:
Use a balanced fertilizer (NPK)every 4–6 weeks during the growing season (spring to early autumn).
Too much nitrogen can reduce flowering.
Pruning🍀:
Prune lightly after flowering to control shape and size.
Remove dead or weak stems regularly to encourage new growth.
Support🌿:
Needs a trellis, fence, or pergola to climb on.
It grows fast and can cover large areas if supported properly.
