Syngonium Podophyllum Wendlandii Black Velvet is becoming a very popular houseplant. It is commonly grown as a houseplant for its attractive foliage, which consists of heart-shaped leaves with distinctively pointed tips. The leaves are dark green and have light green veins running through them.
Syngonium wendlandii has the ability to purify the air by removing harmful toxins, making it a great choice for indoor spaces
Light
The Syngonium wendlandii is a low-maintenance plant with arrowhead-shaped, velvety leaves. The deep green shade of the leaves, paired with the creamy centre streak make for a striking combination. This plant is a climber and will do well with a pole. Or allow it to trail!
Watering
It is best to let this plant dry out slightly before watering during the winter, and keep it slightly moist during the spring and summer. However, regular watering will result in better growth. Note: Be sure not to let the plant sit in pooled water as that can cause root rot. Look out for brown, mushy leaves which is a tell-tale sign of overwatering.
